3 inexpensive date ideas for the outdoor lovers.
November is officially here and we are getting ready to change our clocks back one hour tomorrow. I was told that it starts getting dark around 4:30 pm here in Portland. I’m not sure why we still change our clocks, I don’t see anyone saving any energy, but whatever.
On another note I wanted to say thank you to all the people that have been taking the time to drop by my blog and read what I have to say. I got some great feedback and questions about my last blog post regarding relationships. Although, this blog is more about my daily life and adventures. Once in a while you may find a bit of relationship advice in some entries. It seems that my readers appreciated the time I took to write what I have learned from being in a serious relationship that lead to a happy marriage.
Every relationship is different and I do not expect to have the answer to every problem, nor the best advice. However, I do hope that some of my experience helps someone have a stronger relationship and helps them avoid drama. So if anyone ever needs some advice feel free to send me an email.
1. If you and your significant other enjoy hiking. Make a day out of it, check out some local trails and pack up lunches for the two of you. Sandwiches wraps, fruit and some energy drinks can do the trick. If you are feeling a bit more romantic bring a light weight blanket to have a picnic and enjoy the view.
2. Spend the day riding a bike. Riding bikes is a lot of fun and you get a bit of exercise while you are enjoying the outdoors. Don’t worry if you don’t own a bike. Bike rental places are easy to find and they tend to be very affordable.
3. The beauty of nature is all around us, but how often do we stop and appreciate it?How about slowing down a bit and making a romantic outing with your significant other to watch the sunset. Do some research of cool place to check out the sunset in your area. Grab some coffee or hot chocolate and share a beautiful moment with your loved one.
Remember that you don’t need a lot of money to make a date memorable!!
