It’s happened to me a few times that I ended up with nothing to do because plans got cancelled or I finished something way earlier than expected. Most of the time when I have time off I try to relax and maybe watch a movie or read a book, but sometimes I feel that I’m just wasting time doing those things. So here are 4 things you can do when you have nothing to do, and still be productive.
Plan Your Upcoming Weeks
Probably one of my favorite things to do is to sit down and look at my calendar and write down all the things I need to do, cards I need to mail, and places I need to be. It’s a good way to stay organize and plan accordingly to accomplish everything you need to do.
Whether you are organizing your desk or closet, this is something that will keep you busy for a while, but it can help you de-cluttered and get rid of things you no longer need or wear.
Prep Your Meal for the Next Day
I find that prepping food ahead of time saves me time and money. I something can get really busy in the morning, and end up rushing out of the house without having breakfast or packing lunch. I end up just picking something on the way, but this can be avoided by making my lunch the day before and planning what I will be having for breakfast. Not only will I be eating healthier, I will also be saving money.
Go For A Walk
Staying active is important, and getting some fresh air does the body good. If you have nothing to do, grab a water bottle and walk to a park or somewhere where you can enjoy the scenery. Walking is great not only because you are being active, but it’s a great way to clear your thoughts and relax.
