Saturday morning Adam and I decided to take Wollie out for a hike at Griffith Park. Our original plan was to get up around 7 a.m. and have an early start. Our intentions were good, but we ended up starting our hike at 11 a.m. It was very hot and 5 miles turned out to be too much for my little dachshund who is out of shape. Wollie used to be a little hiking champion. I’m determine to get him back in shape, doing 10+ mile hikes again.
For Easter Sunday since I did not end up having any photo-shoots because they were rescheduled Adam and I decided to head over to Lady Face Ale Companie for their “Grown up egg hunt” Let me begin by telling you that I have NEVER been part of an egg hunt in my life. I have never celebrated Easter, other than having dinner with family because that’s what people apparently do. So I was super excited to be part of this egg hunt.
There was a lot of traffic on the way to Lady Face but we made it just in time for the hunt. It turns out that there were 50 eggs, but they were very hard to find. Adam and I found 2. In his there was a pair of “beerings” made by the lovely craft angels of Lady Face and in the one I found was a coupon for a $2 beer. It was a lot of fun! We ended up staying a bit to have drinks and have brunch.
Later in the evening we went to Adam’s aunts new house for dinner. Her new place is beautiful. We had a really nice time and enjoyed a delicious dinner. Also I got a few compliments about my lovely beerings.
I hope everyone had a fun and eventful Easter Weekend!
