Last week I received another box from Influenster full of goodies. I have had the opportunity to try them out and share my opinions with you. Please note that all the products were given to be free to test. The following reviews are my own opinions based on my experience and testing time with the products.
The #ModaVoxBox Included the following items:
Hair Food by Clairol
As honey coats to protect and apricot oil hydrates for softness, the Hair Food Moisture Hair Mask contains essence of these ingredients, conditioning and coating each strand to help repair and smooth the protective outer layer. The formula helps provide rich moisture protection from everyday styling for smooth manageable hair while adding softness, smoothness and radiant shine. This product is about $14.99 and can be purchase at your local Target.
Swiss Miss Simply Cocoa
Swiss Miss new Simply Cocoa line is the perfect drink to warm up your winter. Available in milk and dark chocolate, Simply Cocoa has just five ingredients – Sugar, Cocoa, Nonfat Milk, Salt and Natural Flavor. No artificial flavors, colors or preservatives. Be sure to use hot milk while preparing Simply Cocoa for an indulgent silky-smooth cocoa that is simply delicious. We used Raw whole milk to make our and it truly was delicious.
Jergens Ultra Healing (Hand Cream)
Jergens Ultra Healing Moisturizer contains a unique illuminating Hydralucence blend and locks moisture for up to 48 hours. According to the bottle it reveals luminous, healthier looking skin in just one week. So I decided to try it out and although, my skin is not normally very dry I did notice that apply the hand lotion after washing dishes or taking a shower it did help keep moisture in my hands and my skin felt softer. One thing I wish it had was a different scent.
Resource Spring Water:
“This water is 100% Natural Spring Water from carefully selected sources with naturally occurring electrolytes for a clean, refreshing taste, resource comes in a bottle made with 50% recycled plastic and is 100% recyclable. ” These water task refreshing and it’s environmentally “mindful”. I like the concept of this water company and I find that it would be a good product for those households/companies that order water bottles. You can find more information about getting Resource Spring Water deliver to your home or office at www.resourcespringwater.com However, in my personal opinion I would not order the water though their home delivery program due to two things: they don’t deliver to my area according to their website and because I use a brita filter which i find more environmentally helpful as you are not wasting plastic bottles.
The new Puffs Softpack is completely adorable. I love the new fun design and the new flexible pack allows your tissues to fit in your purse without being super bulky. As always the tissues are super soft and do not irritate your nose when you are blowing it.
Rimmel London Products:
Scandaleyes Rockin’ Curves Mascara: This mascara runs anywhere between $5.49-$5.99 and can be found and most of your local drugstores. The wand is a broken heart-shaped brush that “creates a fringe of big, curvy, rockin’ lashes” and YES! it actually does. I personally do not like the shape of the wand which makes it hard for me to add mascara on my eyelash ends. However, it does add more volume and it plumps them up really nice.
Moisture Renew Lipstick: This product runs anywhere between $6.99-$7.99 and comes in a variety of different shades. I received shade color 505 “red alert” I really liked the color and the way it made my lips look. The color is long lasting and it was a great shade for my skin tone.
Moisture Renew Lip Liner: This product runs anywhere between $5.99-$6.49 and can be found at most of your local drugstores. I found the lip liner to be very useful with the lipstick I listed above. By applying it before the lipstick it helped define my lips and prevented my lipstick color from feathering.
