Ever since high school I had an obsession with color coding my notebooks, and prepping my daily planners. That obsession still remains, and even though I manage an online calendar and have multiple apps for list and tasks that I need to do I still have a planner. This year I switched planners a couple of times, but at the end I ended up just using a Time Smart planner that I found at Target. I repurposed some of the months that I didn’t use for task list, goals, and reminders. I did some decorating on the weekly pages, but not as much as I would have liked to.
A couple of weeks ago I came across the Simple Stories Carpe Diem Planner, which comes in 6 different colors (Black, Coral, Aqua, Pink, Robin’s Egg, and Platinum). The two things that caught my eye with this planner were the cover, which has a more professional look to it and the daily inserts. (purchased separately)
The planner comes with a metal charm, 12 monthly calendar pages, 12 monthly tabbed dividers, 72 weekly inserts, 1 A5 Tablet, and 6 assorted inserts. There are a lot of other accessories and add-ons for this planner on the Simple Stories website. Here is a quick view of what the planner looks like straight out of the box.
The Time Smart planner I’m currently using could be used until June of 2016, however, I think I will be recycling a lot of the extra pages and simply begin using the Carpe Diem planner starting January. I will be posting more entries regarding monthly planning and updates about ways to organize your planners and much more.
