Located in the heart of Portland State University, the Farmer’s Market comes to life with local vendors. You will find fresh produce, meats, cheeses, breads, ciders, mead, and much more.
The family friendly market hosted a pumpkin carving contest today. Both adults and children participated. These two were my favorite ones.
Adam and I enjoy doing some of shopping at the local markets because you find better produce. The PSU Market is one of the largest ones we have been to so far here in Portland. Some of the prices are a bit higher but only by a few cents. All the vendors have very competitive prices and I feel that no matter where you shop in the market, You are still getting a great deal.
We sampled some Hop, Ginger and Peach mead. They were all very delicious and we ended up purchasing a bottle of the Peach Mead.
The market has a little something for everyone in the family. I can’t wait to go back and get more fresh produce.
