So Adam and I are finally back from our backpacking adventure through the JMT. Like I said before is hard to go back and recap everything that happened in the trail. There are so many things I want to share with the world about living in the wilderness for four weeks and what it does to a person. The last part of the trail, as I mentioned before was going to be difficult, but it turned out to be just fine. Even though we didn’t have perfect weather everyday or sometimes I was really tired, we got through it. I have to say it is the experience of a lifetime.
On the trail I had a lot of time to think about my life and the things I want to do. Which was very nice to have time to reflect of your dreams without being interrupted of distracted by the daily routine of life. Walking gave me a lot of time to really plan out what my goals are for when we move to Portland or Washington and also what they will be for the rest of 2015.
Because there is so much to talk about the trail and the things I loved, disliked, tips, advice, etc, I decided that I will be video blogging in segments. Like I mentioned before I want to be able to use my experience on the JMT to help others and hopefully it makes their journey easier.
I’m still going through all the photos from the trip but here are a few more:
